Park + Social Opens in Baltimore County, Bringing a New Kind of Social Club to the Mid-Atlantic

BALTIMORE — Park + Social, a new social club at 5200 Glen Arm Rd. in Glen Arm, Maryland, is now open and is unlike anything else in the region.
Though it is centered around an automotive theme, the club is for anyone, even someone without an interest in cars, who values a welcoming, friendly community to connect, network, and enjoy life in a relaxed setting, and is a space for people who value relationships, shared experiences, and culture. For car enthusiasts, its adjacent indoor auto storage facility provides a home for both the collector with a fleet of vintage racecars or someone with a single vintage hot-rod.
"We didn't want to build another exclusive club where people feel like they have to prove they belong. We wanted to build a place where people simply do belong, the moment they walk in,” said Mike Clark, Founder of Park + Social. “I've seen what happens when the right environment meets the right people. Energy appears, conversations turn into collaborations, and moments can build into memories. That's the heartbeat behind Park + Social."
Clark adds that members come from a wide range of professions and industries, ranging from HVAC, electrical contracting and law, to finance and construction.
The building was formally known as Glen Arm Station, built in 1898 and served as a cornerstone of the F.X. Hooper Company for nearly a century. Today, after an extensive custom renovation, the Park + Social club portion spans 15,000 square feet. The upscale restaurant offers 100 seats with an extensive, chef-curated menu. Members also enjoy two member lounges that hold up to 50 people combined, and they can also grab a bite and a drink at one of two distinct bars or book the private dining room for a special occasion.
Park + Social can also host up to 250 guests for a party and the club is an ideal destination for celebrations and events of every kind, whether its holiday parties and birthdays, or wedding receptions, anniversaries, and fundraisers. It is also the perfect location for regional car clubs to host drives and gatherings. Members enjoy a steady lineup of events including wine and whiskey nights, art shows, live music, and much more.
Cars are cared for just as well as the club members who love them. Park + Social includes 65,000 square feet of secure, climate-controlled indoor parking, with room for more than 200 vehicles, accessible to members 24 hours a day. The club provides additional options for detailing, battery charging, and mechanical support.
For members looking for a little friendly competition, the club offers two racing simulators and two golf simulators, along with leagues, tournaments, and curated programs throughout the year. Members who need to get work done or host a meeting can use one of five private offices or the shared conference room, all set within a welcoming, easygoing environment built for real connection. And the expansive outdoor patio and firepits offer year-round comfort.
Food and drink at Park + Social come from acclaimed chef Zack Trabbold, who serves as Director of Food + Beverage and Executive Chef. Zack and his wife, Natalie, lead Evolved Hospitality Group, known for The Local and Natalie's Seafood Kitchen and its catering company in Fallston. Trabbold was named Baltimore Magazine's Best Chef in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 readers' polls, and was honored as the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Chef of the Year in 2023.

The social club is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
